Diamond Candles

First off, I have the most amazing boyfriend. He truly listens to me and certainly expresses how much he loves me. One night, he sat there questioning me what the name of the candle I wanted was. I played dumb and pretended light I didn't know what he was talking about.
I later checked the mail to find out I had a huge package containing two Diamond Candles.

Diamond Candles are to simply put it, a candle with a ring inside. This company started by a man, who came up with the idea while buying an anniversary present for his wife. He bought her a ring from the jewelers buts isn't have a gift bag, he saw a candle in the store and the idea was born. Each candle has a ring that values from $10 to $5,000.

I found two of the same ring that valued from either $10-$50 in my candles. I was so excited to wear those rings, not only because I waited 6 hours per candle but also because my sweet boyfriend did a great random gift.

The company's story is amazing and send a great message out. Check out the website and the many different scents of candles. The value might be worth more than what was paid. :)

Weekend Get Away

Today my roommates, Caitlin and Krissy had a quick escape to Petaluma and enjoyed the most adorable Farmer's Market. It was filled with vendors selling anything from rocks to hats. A Mariachi band was playing and children were running about the play structures. It brought back memories from going to the Farmer's Market back at home.

Amazing smelling parsley

Chopped garlic bread, so yummy

While thinking about where to next, we found our way to Concord, Krissy's hometown. We stopped in to see her parents and have dinner. Her mom cooked steak, with garlic mashed potatoes, salad and strawberries. It was so nice to be in a home atmosphere and being around a family. It was a great day besides, being peed on by a dog, scratched till blood was drawn by another dog and farted on by a cat. Animals really do love me!

Beautiful highway 37!

Gus the cat who was later renamed Gust for farting on me..

That Four Letter Word

Love, a four letter word that has an endless amount of meanings. As defined in the Webster dictionary, love has nine different definitions but I picked out my favorites, the ones I love:
"(1) :  strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties <maternal love for a child> (2) :  attraction based on sexual desire :  affection and tenderness felt by lovers (3) :  affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests"
We all have that special person that comes to mind when we think of the word love. Within a second of hearing that four letter word escape from your mind, your thoughts are already engulfed with that person's image, their touch, their voice, their character, their mannerism and the memories spent with them.

Here is my special someone:

I love you.

His name is Jared Ryan Dickson. I have been with my highschool sweetheart for 2 years and 9 months. We are currently in a long distance relationship due to me being at an university, though 2 hours away from each other, distance is distance. Nothing is ever easy with this boy but he is so worth it. Memory after memory with him remembers me how special I am to love someone like him and to be loved by him.
